Race Date:  January 27, 2018

Registration: 8:30 – 10:00 A.M. Race Start: 10:30 A.M. (5k & 10k Race)

Entry Fees:

  • $25.00 Pre-register (postmarked by 1/16/17)
  • $30.00 After 1/16/17, including Race Day
  • $ 5.00 Children 9 & under (Includes participation medal & meal, no shirt)

Race Perks! Registration includes a warm post race meal catered by Lola’s Lunchbox, a long sleeve t-shirt (pre-register to guarantee your size), and entry into the door prizes drawing to win snowshoes, skis and much more (must be present at drawing to win)!  Also, complimentary race photos will be available online after the event!

Team Divisions (Corporate, Mens, Womens, Mixed, HS Boys & HS Girls): Each team consists of 5 or more members. Awards will be given to the top team in each division and to the team with the highest number of finishers.

Awards: In both the 5k & 10k, custom trophies to the overall male & female finishers and medals to the top three in the following age groups: 10-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+. Children 9 and under will receive a participation medal!

Wisconsin State Snowshoe Championships:  The Phillips Flurry will again serve as the Wisconsin State Snowshoe Championships!  Come race against the best in the Badger State in either the 5k or 10k!

Braveheart Snowshoe Series:  This event is part of the largest snowshoe series in the Midwest!  More information is at www.cutemoose.net.

Course: Both courses consist of groomed ski trails & packed single track and feature rolling terrain and a few large hills that traverse over the beautiful school forest.

Location: All race activities will be held at the Phillips School Forest. From Hwy 13, go East on County Hwy H for 3 ½ miles; turn South on Big Elk Road for ½ mile; when the road splits, stay right on Worcester Road and follow the signs to the entrance.

Snowshoe Rentals: Rental snowshoes will be available for the event, for a nominal fee. You can reserve a pair by contacting The Crazy Loon.
